  • P.V. Sindhu suffered a narrow defeat in the second round against Tai Tzu-ying of Taiwan, with scores 20-22, 21-19, 19-21.

Women’s Doubles: Promise and Consistency Issues

The women’s doubles pair, Treesa and Gayatri, displayed promise but exited in the round of 16. Their defensive skills impressed fans, although consistency remains a challenge that needs to be addressed.

The tournament also exposed injury concerns. Lakshya Sen withdrew before his second-round match due to a shoulder strain, underscoring the physical toll of packed schedules.
