District Development Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, recently took a significant step to boost grassroots sports by distributing sports equipment to various Khelo India Coaching Centres across the district. The event was held at the Indoor Sports Complex in the Sports Stadium Poonch.
The equipment was provided to centres specializing in:

- Volleyball
- Badminton
- Boxing
This initiative equips young athletes with the necessary tools to enhance their skills.
This endeavor was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Nusrat Gul, Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, who ensured the timely delivery and support for the Khelo India programs in Poonch.
